For the first time in a little over five decades, the NCAA Division I men’s college basketball tournament takes center-stage at the recently transformed Madison Square Garden in New York City. The World’s Most Famous (and most acoustically energetic) Arena plays host to both the East regional semifinals and final, with the universities of Iowa State, Connecticut, Virginia and Michigan State all vying to cut down the nets in the greatest city on Planet Earth en route to the Final Four at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. U.Conn Huskies head coach Kevin Ollie said it best when he exclaimed ‘There’s no better place to plant seeds than at The Garden.’ And with that sentiment, plus the overall history of the major events that has taken place inside the globally renowned arena, anticipate March Madness to make it’s return to MSG with more frequency in the very near future.
