Sandy showcased Her Glittering Dresses at Fashion Institute of Technology – All That Glitters Exhibition 2025. One dress (white velvet and gold sequin qipao) was her mother’s wedding reception dress in 1994 and the other dress (Sandy is wearing in the picture) was her grandmother’s qipao that she wore at the same wedding reception – purchased from Dargon Seed (Quipo Shop) – San Francisco Chinatown.  Sandy is a recent graduated from Fashion Institute of Technology with a M.A. in Fashion and Textiles Studies: History, Theory, and museum Practice.
