In this their third decade in the music industry and overcoming the adversity of member Paul Anthony’s recent battle with cancer, legendary artists/producers/songwriters FULL FORCE are back on the scene with two new single releases – their stellar re-doing of the 1986 Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam smash hit ‘All Cried Out’ featuring the soulful vocals of the multitalented Tisha Campbell-Martin, and the inspirational ‘I Feel Good, I Look Good, I’m God Good’ featuring Faith Evans, Sheila E, and the GOD GOOD Choir & Children.
Their upcoming and sure-to-be winning album titled ‘FULL: With Love From Our Friends,’ which Paul Anthony calls his ‘musical rebirth,’ is set for release during the summer of 2K14, and in the spirit of Quincy Jones’ classic LP ‘Back On The Block,’ and also in celebrating their longevity in the game, FULL FORCE will showcase an incredible array of great new music with over thirty ‘true-skool all-star’ performers such as the aforementioned Tisha Campbell-Martin, Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam, Faith Evans and Sheila E, as well as the likes of UTFO, Cheryl ‘Pepsii’ Riley, Tevin Campbell, Shanice Wilson-Alexander, Howard Hewitt, Raphael Saadiq, Regina Belle, Roxanne Shante, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Force MDs and many others. And as a hilarious addition, even the infamous ‘House Party Bullies’ make their presence felt with a cameo appearance throughout the record!
The new album is the brainchild of member Bowlegged Lou, whose talented son – rap artist LouStar – is also among the featured artists on the project, and is dedicated to his brother and group mate Paul Anthony, who underwent a stem cell bone marrow transplant and is now cancer-free all due in part to Lou being the primary donor. All proceeds and sales of the singles and album will go towards the Paul Anthony Cancer Initiative.
