Hello Aloe!
By Zahra
What’s dry, brittle and has white flakes all over? Yup, your hair!
Aloe can fix that. It’s been well known for years that Aloe pretty much cures all hair ailments. Whether your hair is natural or processed, dry scalp and poorly moisturized hair affects everyone. Natural hair is hair that hasn’t been processed. This means no perms, relaxers, texturizers, hair dye or any other chemical that changes the look or feel of your hair. If you have dry scalp that is brought on by the winter season or if your hair is just dry for reasons that you can’t explain, here are some ways to help your hair and scalp.
Option 1– Buy an Aloe leaf. After you’ve washed your hair and conditioned it, slice open the aloe leaf vertically. Using your hand or a spoon, scoop the slimy parts into your hand and apply to your hair. Do not wash out. Be careful, Aloe is quite bitter if ingested but totally harmless.
Option 2– Buy Aloe essential oil and Tea tree essential oil. Combine 2-3 drops of Tea Tree oil with 3 drops of Aloe essential oil in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. If you can’t get your hands on both, go with the Aloe oil for now. After you’ve combined your essential oils with the olive oil, part your hair with the comb and rub the oil on your scalp. No need to oil your actual hair because the oil will drip to your hair tips from the root. Do not wash out. Style as usual and enjoy you’re your newly moisturized and flake free hair!
